About the Choir

The tour choir of Immanuel Lutheran High School, College, and Seminary, Eau Claire, Wisconsin, is a music ministry which shares the word of God in song both locally and throughout the United States. The choir spends the academic year preparing for all-school concerts in December and May as well as a spring tour in which the group shares a choral worship service with various congregations in the Church of the Lutheran Confession (CLC).

The size and composition of the choir can vary from year to year. It is currently made up of eight college and seventeen high school students (25 voices). Four directors have served the choir in the sixty years since its inception: Robert Dommer, Dean Carstensen, John Reim, and David Schaller (current).
